Custom Girls Athletic Skirts | Womens Lax Skirts

Create your own women’s and girls athletic skirt from Lightning Wear®. Dye sublimated women’s skirts are made to order in Maryland USA. Design online or work with our artists.  And, they are available in youth sizes starting at youth extra small.  Then, they go to five extra large in adult sizes.  The skirts have an elastic draw string waist band with a double hem stitch.    As well, they are form fitting and sized for the average athletic build.  The skirts pictured are a solid color.  However, because they are dye sublimated, you can add any pattern, design, logo or image to the piece.  And, you can also add team names or numbers too. We also offer girls sports shorts too.

Most customers ask what dye sublimation truly means.  Apparel sublimation is a pretty complicated process.  In a nutshell, special paper is printed with a wide format print.  But the inks are really the magic mix in the recipe.  A food coloring like substance is printed on to the special paper.  Next, the roll of printed paper is transferred to our fabric using a high heat oven that is 12 feet wide.  The rotary press spits out temperatures that are hotter than most pizza ovens.  Finally, the pressed fabric is cut using special knives.  And then it makes its way on to our sewing floor for a final trim.
